Meet our Dedicated Teachers
Kay Spillman is the owner of Go with the Flow Yoga, which opened its door in 2004.
She teaches our Mat Pilates, Vinyasa Yoga, Aerial Yoga, and private Pilates.
Her Yoga accreditations are from the Lakshmi School of Yoga, Bryan Kest Power Yoga, and Shiva Rae. She is a certified Polstar Pilates Apparatus teacher and also a Physical Therapist for Pilates trainer.
Her years of teaching and learning have made her a sought after trainer and therapist for our local athletes during rehabilitation after surgeries and injuries. In 2008 she began traveling the United States teaching Hip Replacement workshops and conferences to Pilates and Yoga Instructors.
Kay makes it a priority to continue her education to keep abreast of her industry, and expects the same high standard from her teachers.
Heather encourages her students to take a functional approach to their practice by using their intention to feel each pose from the inside out, to modify or change the pose if is doesn’t feel good, rather than focusing on the shape of the pose. Every body is individual so everybody’s practice should be individual to them.
She is a registered E-RYT 200 and YACEP teacher with Yoga Alliance and has been sharing her love of yoga since 2008 when she completed her first Krama Vinyasa RYT 200 training. She graduated with honors from her Skanda Yoga RYT 200 in 2009 and is also a registered Yin Yoga teacher, having trained with Bernie Clark.
She is also a certified Aerial Yoga teacher and offers private Aerial Yoga at Go with the Flow Yoga Studio and private yoga session either in studio, or on location. For more information about Heather, check out her website.
